Committee of the Whole of Council (CoW) meetings- 4 pm & Regular Council meeting to follows at 5 pm...both meetings are held on the same day!

Committee of the Whole and Regular meetings of Council are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 420 Leslie Avenue, Thunder Bay Ontario. If the meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting shall be held at the same hour and place the following day.

If you wish to submit material to Committee of the Whole or Council for their consideration please forward a copy of the submission via regular mail, email or fax to the Clerk by noon the Monday, one week prior to the meeting. 

Committee of the Whole of Council Meetings – 4 pm every second and fourth Monday of each month

If the scheduled meeting day falls on a holiday the meeting will take place the next day and  shall be held at the same hour and place.

 

Council Meetings –  5 pm right after Committee of the Whole every second and fourth Monday of each month

 

The Committee of the Whole of Council shall stand adjourned at 5:00 p.m. until its next regular meeting, or may, by resolution, stand adjourned until after the close of Council’s regular meeting being held on the same evening 

Notwithstanding the above provisions, meetings of Council shall be held on the second Monday of the month during the months 

of July, August and December

All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Municipal Office located at 420 Leslie Avenue.

Council Meeting Procedures:

If you wish to appear before Council with a deputation, you must contact the Clerk's office in writing before noon on the Monday preceding the Council meeting. All submissions to Council must be received by the clerk by the Monday, one week prior to the meeting.
